Incorporated in 1985, A.V Knowles & Company Limited has developed into the market leader providing specialized financial services in debt-collection & credit bureau information.

Our founder and Managing Director, Mr. A. V. Knowles, is an Attorney at Law (LL B Kings' College, Gray's Inn 1966) with over twenty-five (25) years business and legal experience in credit collection. Driven by a results-oriented management style, his organization has expanded within the last decade into four divisions operating under the umbrella of A.V. Knowles & Associates:

1. A.V. KNOWLES & COMPANY LIMITED (Debt Collection Agency)
2. THE CREDIT BUREAU OF TRINIDAD & TOBAGO
3. H.P. REGISTER LIMITED.
4. MOTOR CRITIC LIMITED.

All legal work is conducted by four full-time attorneys with permanent support staff exceeding fifty employees. Our 1998 year-end results show annual turnover of TT$10M , with gross revenue exceeding TT$3M. A. V. Knowles & Associates has achieved formal recognition by major international agencies like, Dunn & Bradstreet, American Express, and Canadian Export Development Corporation, as their local agent for debt recoveries.

Additionally, our Collection and Credit Bureau clients include all the branches of commercial banks; several Government Agencies, and the following Public Utilities:

• Trinidad & Tobago Electricity Commission.
• The Port Authority of Trinidad & Tobago.
• Telecommunications Services of Trinidad & Tobago.

We also serve approximately six hundred business clients ranging from single proprietors to major business conglomerates.
